Galleries from all corners of the globe will have representation at this top end event and both established artists and new talent will be showcased. Indeed, many private and public collectors and museums have shown an immense interest in the exhibition.

From its establishment seven years ago, the Collect exhibition has grown in strength. A re-launch in 2009 proved incredibly successful and this year there will be every effort to surpass it.

The walls of the Saatchi gallery are not the limits of the fair: many window spaces at a number of venues in the local environs will also display artworks: there is also a collection of events which are related.

Art works include the finest in ceramics, glass, hand crafted jewellery, silver and fine metalwork, textiles, wood and furniture. In excess of 300 artists will be exhibiting at this year’s show.

Galleries who will have art work featured in the exhibition include Alternatives Gallery in Italy, Blas & Knada in Sweden, Collection Ateliers D'Art De France, Flatland Gallery in the Netherlands, Galerie Rosemarie Jager in Germany, Galerie S O in Switzerland and Galerie Sofie Lachaert in Belgium.

Visitors will also be treated to a stimulating series of events at the gallery, including talks from experts from “Crafts” magazine and less formal talks presented by well-known gallery owners, artists and experts in contemporary crafts.
