Picturesque Torquay, known to many as the English Riviera, is the chosen location for the inaugural Devon Art Fair in 2010. The event has been keenly awaited for a number of years now and promises to be extremely successful.

The venue for this exciting event is the Riviera International Conference Centre, where 44 galleries representing artists from both the UK and throughout Europe will showcase a unique blend of fine, modern and contemporary artwork. Visitors to the Fair will have the opportunity to not only view and admire such artwork, but also to purchase the same.

On display will be works of art from hundreds of diverse artists, quite a few of whose names are easily recognised, together with emerging talented graduates, professional, established artists and those who have taught themselves.

Various styles of art using a wide range of media will be on display, including paintings, drawings, sculpture, glass and ceramics, with prices ranging from an affordable £75 to in excess of five figures, thus guaranteeing that even the first time purchaser as well as the more seasoned collector will find something inspiring.

The Fair opening is on Thursday, 30th September, where a Charity Preview Evening and Champagne reception will attract many art lovers. After this, the Fair will be open during the day, from Friday, 1st October to Sunday, 3rd October.

This is the sixth year that the Windsor Contemporary Art Fair has been held and it has quickly become recognised in the Thames Valley as an extremely prestigious event, both to exhibit in and to visit.

The venue for the Windsor Contemporary Art Fair is the Royal Windsor Racecourse and it will be open to the general public from Friday, 13th November through to Sunday, 15th November.

The fair showcases contemporary and fine art from both well established names and new talent. It is anticipated that in excess of 100 artists will be showcasing an immense variety of artwork. Amongst these artworks will be original paintings and drawings, limited edition prints, photography, sculpture and glasswork, from both experienced and new talent.

The theme of this year’s event, as was last year’s, is ‘Art for All’. Whether you are a new collector or an experienced art collector, there is bound to be something that inspires. The prices are also more than reasonable, ranging from £30 – £3000. The atmosphere is quite informal: visitors are encouraged to browse and interact with the artists themselves, whilst listening to a variety of music, sampling wine and visiting the cafe to consider possible purchases over a light meal or cup of coffee. The Royal College of Art can justly be called the "spiritual home" of British art and, as such, provides an ideal setting for the fair which brings together around 60 of the British leading art dealers showing works by the great names of the 20th century art: Bacon, Freud, Frink, Frost, Hepworth, Hockney, Hodgson, Lanyon, Lowry, Moore (honoured this year with a major exhibition at Tate Britain), Nash, Piper, Riley, Scott, Matthew Smith, Spencer and Sutherland. 2010 sees the opening of the inaugural Penman Towcester Fair and the setting in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside is well worth the trip. Thirty five art and antiques specialists from the across UK will exhibit rare antiques and works of art at the newly built Empress Stand at the Towcester Racecourse. The venue is accessed through an impressive triumphal arch and is bordered by a superb brick wall which runs south from Towcester along the A5.

Specialist dealers will offer fine period furniture, original oils and watercolours, silver, jewellery, pottery, porcelain, glass, brassware and many other quality objects of art. Visitors will be able to take in the views of the racecourse and the picturesque lake from the bar and balcony on the first floor, where garden furniture and sculpture will be prominently displayed. Those attending the Penman Towcester Fair can be assured that the items on display are of the highest quality and have been carefully screened for authenticity and correct labelling, which is to be expected at Penman Fairs.

The Fair will be open to the public on Friday, 25th June and Saturday, 26th June, from 10.30 am to 6.00 pm and on Sunday, 27th June, from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm.

Masterpiece 2010 London has emerged as an exclusive showcase for all things beautiful.

Since its inception in New York in 2007, PINTA has become a most important event on the Modern and Contemporary Art calendar. The organisers have made it their mission to expand the exposure of Latin American Modern and Contemporary Art via the participation of prominent galleries, curatorial projects featuring guest artists and dialogue programmes.

With this in mind, the London season of PINTA, to be held from 3rd to 6th June, 2010, promises to be a very successful event. Approximately fifty galleries of the highest quality are expected to participate. Included in this eminent list are White Cube and Haunch of Venison.

Visitors will also be treated to a programme featuring tributes to the pioneer artists Carmen Herrera and Carlos Cruz-Diez, together with a variety of art projects and solo shows; a series of dialogues will also be presented in which the position of Latin American Art within London’s institutions will be explored.

Expectation can be measured by PINTA’s influence in the acquisition of Latin American artworks by such leading institutions as Tate Modern; the University of Essex Collection of Latin American Art; Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Madrid; Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona, (MACBA) and the Middlesborough Institute of Modern Art, (MIMA), England.

As in previous years, there will be in 2010 the opportunity throughout PINTA for those museums dedicated to Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art to acquire new artworks. This has been made possible as a result of a matching funds programme, where up to the present day, PINTA has donated $250,000, to be matched by participating museums and used to purchase Latin American artworks exhibited at the Fair.
