Inspiring Relationship Between Art and Science

Every year the University hosts a Cambridge Science Festival in the city, the UK’s largest free science festival, when the general public has the opportunity to visit some of the University's famous laboratories and departments, and hear from world leading researchers. As part of the Festival, a wide number of activities and events take place. Between 8 – 21 March 2010, the Cambridge Science Festival offers over 150 free events designed to give families, adults and children of all ages two weeks of hands on science.

This year the Science Festival explores the inspiring relationship between art and science. Talks, exhibitions and debates will provide an opportunity to discover the exciting interplay and stimulating connections between art and science which include photography, paint and talks regarding the connection between the two. The art workshops will be held on the 9th and 17th as part of the University of Cambridge Science Festival and in association with the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
